Baked Crab Rangoon

Baked Crab Rangoon? Yes! This day and age of high cholesterol possibilities and major heart burn made us stand up and pay attention when we realized we didn't "have to" deep fry crab rangoons. Some people think it has to be deep fried to be good, but maybe they could think again and consider this delicious recipe. It's not difficult to make and definitely offers an easier clean-up, too!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Can-Crab Meat-drained and flaked

  • 4 Ounces-Philadelphia Cream Cheese-Less Fat

  • 1/4 Cup-Green Onions-Minced

  • 1/4 Cup-Lite Mayonnaise

  • 12-Won Ton Wrappers

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix ingredients well.

Spray a 12-Muffin pan with cooking spray.

Place 1 won ton wrapper in each cup, allowing the edges to fold over the sides of the cups.

Fill evenly with the crab meat mixture. You don't have to enclose the wraps. It's perfectly okay to leave them open! You can stuff more mixture into them. Either way is fine, though, if you like to enclose them, put another wrap over them if they are too hard to close filled.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Garnish with green onions and a little pimento if desired and serve right away with your favorite Crab Dip Recipes. Or, you can even buy some sweet and sour sauce, put it in a lovely dish and serve with the rangoon for a fancy party treat!
