Stir Fried King Crab

(Pacific Northwest)

Here's an easy crab meat recipe, Stir Fried King Crab. A stir fry that just may be one of our absolute fave's!


  • 3/4 to 1 lb. King Crab Legs, thawed

  • 2 Cups-Sliced, Fresh Mushrooms

  • 1 Cup-Sliced Onion

  • 1 small-Clove Garlic, minced

  • 2 Tablespoons-Oil

  • 1 Cup-Fresh Chinese Pea Pods or frozen Chinese Pea Pods, thawed

  • 3/4 Cup-Diced Tomatoes

  • 1 teaspoon-Cornstarch

  • 1 Tablespoon-Cold Water


Cut the crab legs into 2 to 3 inch pieces. Saute' the mushrooms, onion and garlic in oil until soft.

Add the crab, pea pods and tomatoes, then, stir-fry until the vegetables are crisp and tender and the crab is thoroughly heated.

Blend the cornstarch and water; stir into pan juices.

Cook and stir until juices are thickened and clear.

Makes about 2 servings.
