Crab Salad Recipe

This cold crab salad recipe is a molded salad and fun to make. Being creative with molds, using different shapes can spruce up the festivities for any occassion.


 This crab salad is especially "Crab-O-Licious" loaded with delicious crab meat and with the creamy cucumber dressing! We'll share that recipe with you, too, down below.




  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons-Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1/4 Cup-Cold Water
  • 1/4 Cup-Lemon Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon-Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon-Paprika
  • Dash-Black Pepper
  • 2 Cups-Crab Meat-Flaked
  • 1 Cup-Heavy Cream-Whipped


Mix water and juice in bowl.

Sprinkle the gelatin over the water and juice.

Dissolve the gelatin by placing the bowl in hot water.

Remove from hot water.

Place bowl on ice.

Stir in crab meat and fold in whipping cream.

Turn into a 1 Quart sized mold.

Chill till firm.

While this is chilling, you can make this cucumber dressing that goes well with this recipe.


Cucumber Dressing:

Wash, pare and finely chop a medium sized cucumber.
Blend in 1 cup of mayo, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of parsley.
Mix well.

Makes about 8 servings.
